My son loves insects and chocolate, and this chocolate cake was made for him. I created an edible woodland scene with bark, soil, mushrooms and insects.

It has 2 chocolate sponge layers with strawberry jam filling, decorated with chocolate fudge buttercream and decorated with chocolate flakes, chocolate soil, fondant creatures and funghi, and strawberry toadstools.
