My children love a certain wizard and his owl, and this owl cake was made for my daughter’s birthday.

Challenge me to create a cake of a character from your child’s favourite book?

This cake is made from 2 layers of carrot cake sponge, with vanilla cream cheese frosting for the filling and piped for a feathery finish. Modelling chocolate was used for the beak and eyes. This is a good alternative if your child does not like fondant icing.
