Birthday Celebration

This cake was made for a 70th birthday. It is made of 3 layers of lemon sponge cake, with lemon curd and lemon buttercream icing filling.

Iced with lemon buttercream, I decorated it with raspberry buttercream, fondant flowers and leaves, freeze-dried raspberry flakes and vanilla, chocolate and raspberry macaroons.
